SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News)
Thanksgiving break is right around the corner in Syracuse. Many students are expected to return, but some might have issues with travel. When its issues with disabilities’, injuries, people with pets, bad airports, people might have a ton on their plate while traveling.
SU student Sky exclaims her injury and her pet cat are making this travel process pretty hard.
“I actually have a broken foot. So, I have to like beg them to give me a wheelchair for 40 minutes while on the phone with them, and I have to get there really early,”
And while it’s hard for students to travel while living in the U.S, international students have way worse luck and it’s much more of a hassle traveling back and forth. Another Syracuse student, Chance, relates her own experiences traveling abroad to sympathize with international students.
“I went to Indonesia over the summer, and it was very long travel, so I can only imagine doing this to go to school and back, that’s a lot”
Hopefully over this Thanksgiving break, Syracuse students traveling 40 minutes or 16 hours home do so safely with no setbacks.
