(NCC NEWS) – Syracuse has faced a snow shortage this winter season. With only around 45 inches falling this season compared to our 83 inch average, residents could be wondering if the snow is over yet.
While Easter weekend is usually the first spring holiday, in Syracuse there could be a dusting of snow on the ground. According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of snow showers before 8 a.m.
Saturday could see some rain, with the potential for snow to start falling Saturday night into Sunday morning. Brisk temperatures Sunday morning could hover around the 32 degree mark.
Later in the day on Easter Sunday, we could see partly sunny skies with a high of 49 degrees. While it may be a bit cold in the early morning, the weather should clear up just in time for an afternoon egg hunt.
