SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC NEWS) – One Cry Mission Syracuse is hosting a Family Fun Fest event this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event will be located at Syracuse Inner Harbor.
One Cry Mission is a church located in Syracuse, NY. Its mission is to unify Christians in the greater Syracuse area through events, outreach, and support for churches and ministries. They aim to bring together people from all walks of life, making the event open to everyone, regardless of their faith.
Karen White, event planner, shares some of what families should look forward to at the event. “Giant bubbles the kids can go under and it’s all in little pools where the kids can make the bubbles and they fly all over the place. There’s face painting,” White said.
As the event returns for a second consecutive year, White says, “Last year was our first time, and I think we’re hoping to be able to do this every year, so yeah it’s the second time we’re doing this.” She is optimistic about increasing awareness and planning more community-driven events in the future.
Family Fun Fest will feature delicious food, carnival rides, and live music, and will be held at Syracuse Inner Harbor on Saturday. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate.
