SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — Jersey Mike’s Subs, a popular sandwich shop chain, opened its first Syracuse-area store in DeWitt today.

Jersey Mike’s, local to New Jersey, is best known for its subs and hot sandwiches.

One of the  Jersey Mike’s employees said that customers have been rushing through the doors all day to get their first taste of the Syracuse  Jersey Mike’s. The grand opening started at 10:00 a.m.
