By Darianny Abreu SKANEATELES, N.Y. (NCC News) — Central New York will be welcoming two reality TV stars and a Hollywood actor this weekend for a charity event to raise money for cancer research. One of the celebrity guests is actor Daniel Baldwin, known for his role in Hawaii Five-O.
Tom and Katie Schwartz of the Bravo reality show “Vanderpump Rules,” will also be attending the Friday event.
The owner of The Krebs restaurant is hosting the fund-raiser, in celebration of its fifth anniversary. Organizers said they hoped to raise $250,000 for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund . The fund supports research for cures for cancer. It has awarded more than 72 research grants totaling more than $4 million, according to its website.
In the reality show, the Schwartz are bartenders at SUR Restaurant and Lounge, so they have offered to help pour drinks at the event.
