Early voting was an option in New York for the first time ever and Onondaga County Elections Commissioner Dustin Czarny says about 8 thousand Central New Yorkers took advantage.
He also says this was learning opportunity for those who work the polls as well.

“We learned how flow and staffing in an early voting center will work. We learned how our poll books work and how they don’t work in certain places and how we can adjust for that. We learned how much time it takes to prepare for all of this and how much time it takes for the post-election and we’re learning that still.”

“It’s been a long summer, a long preseason but it’s starting to get rolling here. It’s starting to get real. There’s no better way to start off than playing the defending national champs. When you come in here in the ACC to play the best and you know in order to be the best you need to beat them. It’s going to be a really great game for us and I’m looking forward to it.”
