By CJ Santosuosso Syracuse, N.Y. (NCC News) — Tops announced today that they will be closing more grocery stores sooner than initially thought.
In all 10 grocery stores will close by the end of the month, including four here in Central New York.
On October, 27th the Tops at 909 W. 1st St. in Fulton will close, along with the Tops at 33 Forgham St. in Lyons.
On October, 30th the Tops at 4141 S. Salina St. and at 2120 W. Genesse St. in Syracuse will also close.
Democratic challenger Dana Balter will be speaking at Syracuse University Tuesday night.
The forum, which starts at 7:30 in Grant Auditorium, is being organized by the Syracuse University College Democrats.
Balter will speak about a variety of issues including healthcare, the environment and the economy.
Rep. John Katko, R-Camillus, and Balter will begin their first of four debates Wednesday night.
Syracuse Football is 5-2, but there are more questions than answers after their win.
