NELSON: To be honest with you, this is about one of the most positive places the kids can come in the community and don’t have to worry about any violence. This is a good place to be for kids.
WALLACE: THE 20TH ANNUAL EVENT WILL ALSO INCLUDE A BBQ. DESTINY U-S-A RESTAURANTS ARE TRYING NEW METHODS TO RETAIN EMPLOYEES.
WALLACE: MARGARITAVILLE BARTENDER CLARA CONTINI SAYS WORKERS WILL GET A FIVE-HUNDRED-DOLLAR SIGN-ON BONUS AFTER 90 DAYS.
CONTINI: Everywhere is hiring right now, everyone is struggling with employees and staff. I think people should try and apply to wherever they think they will be the happiest.
WALLACE: THE BONUS WOULD COME AUGUST 15TH. CENTRO FACES A BUS SHORTAGE A WEEK BEFORE THE STATE FAIR BEGINS.
WALLACE: VICE PRESIDENT OF COMMUNICATIONS STEVE KOEGEL SAYS THE BUS SERVICE IS DOWN 30 DRIVERS.
KOEGEL: On top of the regular service that we provide every day we are also providing these additional services. We don’t have the people this year to put behind the wheel to get people to the New York State Fair.
