(Torres): It’s like smooth and it’s nice to be here because we’ve waiting like two months.
(Bauman): I usually go here every year at least 7 times a year when it’s open. I love skating here. I think it’s really pretty with the tree. We went to the tree lighting and it’s so pretty here.
(Richter):
The Ice Rink is scheduled to be open 7 days a week opening at 11 am on the weekdays and at 10 am on the weekends… The rink will be open till 8 p.m. every day except on Friday and Saturday nights when it will stay open till 8:30 p.m. And to skating it won’t cost you that much with admission being 5 dollars or less and skate rentals costing 5 dollars. And Clinton Square Ice Rink is one of two outdoor ice rinks that the City Of Syracuse Operates. However, this one is the only right in the heart of downtown. Skater Angelina Polcara says she’s not that big into skating but it’s something that gets her outside in the cold.
(Polcara): I’m really excited. I mean there’s nothing else really to do in Syracuse outside other than this so it’s nice that Clinton Square has this and t’s fun to go with friends and stuff.
(Richter): Skating is expected to remain open until the spring. From downtown Syracuse, Zach Richter – NCC News

The Clinton Square Ice Rink is also the only outdoor rink that the City of Syracuse operates that is right in the center of downtown Syracuse. Skater Angelina Polcara said skating gets her outside when it’s cold.

“I mean there’s nothing else really to do in Syracuse outside other than this so it’s nice that Clinton Square has this and t’s fun to go with friends and stuff,” Polcara said.

Admission is 5 dollars for adults and 3 dollars for seniors and children with skate rentals also only costing 5 dollars regardless of age. The outdoor ice rink is expected to remain open until the spring.
