The average high temperature is 55.5 degrees. The highest temperature Syracuse has ever seen was 75 degrees.
The average low temperature is 36.9 degrees. The lowest temperature seen on Halloween in Syracuse was 20 degrees.
Syracuse is known for extreme amounts of snow, but the probability for measurable snow is 4% on Halloween, based on Halloween snows in years past. Rochester, N.Y. and Caribou, M.E. came in at the highest probability at 6%.
So what about this year? We’re falling in between the frightful and delightful Halloween temperatures. You’ll definitely need a jacket to keep yourself warm outside. A high of 45 degrees and a low of 29 degrees is expected. Chance of precipitation is 30% with little to no snow accumulation.
