Annual Taste of Syracuse Festival Helps to Promote Local Businesses Annual Taste of Syracuse Festival Helps to Promote Local Businesses

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News)–  The Taste of Syracuse Festival began Friday at 11 a.m.

Vendors of all kinds came out to make sure to promote their businesses and unique local goods.

Some notable businesses and restaurants included Dinosaur Barbecue, Glazed and Confused Donut Shop and the Luna Cat Cafe.

One other vendor at the festival was Habiba Boru, the owner of Habiba’s Ethiopian Kitchen.

She welcomes individuals of all kinds to come visit her location in Syracuse’s Salt City Market, and says she hopes the festival will help her with gaining more customers.

“It helps promote the business and put the name out there, of course. Of course, since Covid, a lot of people have lost their business and things has not been the same. But hopefully, with people coming out and learning about Habiba’s, we’ll get more crowd and more business.”

The festival will end Saturday at 10 p.m.
