The U.S. Army Corp. is planning to build more makeshift facilities to keep up with the volume of patients. This comes after a 3,000 bed facility was just completed in Manhattan.
And the FDA is planning to roll out a rapid coronavirus test this week. The new test will cut the waiting period by days, which will allow sick patients to be treated sooner.
