FINNERAL: THIS IS YOUR N-C-C NEWS BRIEF. IT’S OCTOBER SEVENTH, I’M JAMES FINNERAL. THE SYRACUSE POLICE DEPARTMENT HONORED CAPTAIN JOHN BRENNAN TODAY FOR 50 YEARS OF SERVICE. BRENNAN IS GRATEFUL FOR HIS TIME WITH SYRACUSE P-D, BUT HE ALSO BROUGHT JOKES WITH HIM TO THE PODIUM.
BRENNAN: Tell the new kids that are coming on now my gun belt is older than them. I’m just very honored to be here. It’s been a great 50 years. I could probably do another 10 or 15 more no problem.
FINNERAL: GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO IS STEPPING UP SECURITY AROUND SYNAGOGUES FOR YOM KEY POOR, WHICH COMMENCES TOMORROW. CUOMO HAS ORDERED AN INCREASED STATE POLICE PRESENCE AROUND SYNAGOGUES FOR THE HOLIDAY AFTER MULTIPLE VANDALISMS OCCURED OVER ROSH HASHANAH. CUOMO SAID THIS SACRED DAY SHOULD NOT BE DISTURBED.
FINNERAL: AND FINALLY IN SPORTS, THE BUFFALO BILLS TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS ON THE ROAD AGAINST THE TENNESSEE TITANS WINNING BY A . AFTER BEING CLEARED FROM CONCUSSION PROTOCOL QUARTERBACK JOSH ALLEN RETURNED FOR THE BILLS. HE THREW FOR 219 YARDS AND TWO TOUCHDOWNS.
