SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) – Bed Bath & Beyond is the latest retailer to announce store closures due to the economic impact of COVID-19.
According to USA Today, the Bed Bath & Beyond at 3597 W. Genesee St. in Syracuse is one of 63 locations set to close before the end of 2020.
The retailer will also close its locations at 3349 Monroe Ave. in Rochester and 21855 Towne Center Drive in Watertown in the coming months.
In total, six locations across New York state will shut down before year’s end.
In July, Bed Bath & Beyond announced its intention to close over 200 stores within the next two years.
While the W. Genesee St. location will close soon, local shoppers can still visit the Bed Bath & Beyond located at 3409 Erie Blvd. E in Dewitt.
