SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) – On Thursday the JMA Wireless Dome will be rock’n to the sound of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. This concert is a long time coming and Springsteen shared his excitement over an instagram post.

“Bruce Springsteen’s coming back 50 years later. The E Street Band have plans to destroy your city and rock you into the ground!”

The concert was originally scheduled to take place this past fall, but Springsteen had to undergo treatment for peptic ulcer disease which led to the postponing of his appearance. His concert in Albany was also postponed in the fall, but already took place on April 15th.

This schedule change means that not all of the original fans are going to be able to attend. Josh LeViseur, a student at Syracuse University, is upset that he isn’t able to make it to the concert.

“Yeah, I was really excited to go in the fall and then I found out it get rescheduled, and I have work on Thursday, so I was really disappointed that I couldn’t go. He’s one of my favorite artists.”

But for the fans who can make it, they are pretty excited after having to wait multiple months. SU student, Ari Feinstein, has long awaited this concert and even has family coming to join him.

“The dude’s the boss. He’s from jersey, I’m from jersey. His music to me is like a match made in heaven. I cannot wait to see him at the Dome.”

Thankfully any fan who is this excited can still get last minute tickets online for the concert which will be taking place at 7:30 on Thursday in the JMA Wireless Dome.
