SYRACUSE, N.Y. – If you’re a Syracuse University student, you might be able to visit the newly renovated Loud House for a COVID-19 test.

According to a campus-wide email, Syracuse University is opening up the Carrier Dome to coronavirus testing for students. Vice-Chancellor J. Michael Haynie said that students find the testing center across from Gate N, which is located near the quad on Syracuse’s main campus.

According to Haynie’s email, COVID-19 testing at the Skybarn on South Campus is suspended for now. This is so the site can be used for flu tests this fall.

Over the past year, Syracuse spent $118 million to make renovations to the Carrier Dome. The stadium reopened on Saturday, September 26th, for Syracuse Football’s home opener against Georgia Tech. The Orange won that game 37 to 20.
