Central New York Steps Into Phase 3 Central New York Steps Into Phase 3

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News)  –  After weeks of preparation, Central New York is finally reaching Phase 3 Friday. Many people are excited to take in fresh air but, they must stay aware of the restrictions so the community isn’t quickly back in quarantine mode.

Pastabilities Kitchen Manager Rachel Heagerty explains what it takes to set a restaurant back up.

“We have gotten back to a good place with out curbside to go and now to given a very short notice of Phase 3 happening is like oh my God,” said Heagerty.

County Executive Ryan McMahon instructed Central New Yorkers to ease back into their routines especially since they are more phases to go. McMahon made it clear that sports can resume only if 10 people are playing at a time.

The community has been instructed to stay six feet apart, wear masks, and not to fill restaurants up to anymore than 50% to capacity.
