Central New York’s Lights on the Lake is Back Central New York's Lights on the Lake is back

LIVERPOOL, N.Y. (NCC News) — Christmas is extra special in Central New York thanks to Lights on the Lake! It’s a huge holiday tradition with giant lights along a 2-mile road by Onondaga Lake.

Lights on the Lake has everything—tall light arches, Santa’s Workshop, and more. And you can enjoy it all from the warmth of your car.

In a recent survey by Country Living, Lights on the Lake was recognized as the eighth most magical Christmas light display in the nation.

Among the countless displays that draw residents’ attention, 10-year-old Kamar Boatman Jr. shared that Sports World is his favorite, “soccer, basketball, it was cool,” he says.

While Kamar gravitated towards the sports-themed displays, 11-year-old, Marcus John says he liked a lot of them but Jack in the Box was his favorite.

Lights on the Lake will run nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. until January 12, 2024. Admission prices vary, with a cost of $10 per car from Monday through Thursday and $20 from Friday through Sunday.
