Christmas All Year Long for Abbie Kludt Christmas All Year Long for Abbie Kludt

Christmas all day, every day for 365 days.

VO: The countdown to Christmas has begun, well at least foe some people…
Benny: “Not okay that’s a premature decision. You’ve got to get in the head space for it and right after Thanksgiving is just way too early.”
Jack: Because you must be where your feet are, you are mid-November how could you possibly be celebrating something a month and a half away. I mean you have Thanksgiving one month away here, lets take things one step a time.”
Sydney: The hot topic debate of whether to celebrate Christmas before or after Thanksgiving has begun, but for one person in Syracuse Christmas takes on a while new life. A season that she believes deserves to be celebrated twelve months of the year.
From the watch to the phone case and every app having the Christmas spirit.
Oh and let’s not forget about the Mariah Carry ring tone.
It is safe to say Abby Klubt is on the nice list not just this year, but every year.
Not for the way she celebrates but for the way she uses the holiday to show her “love” for others.
Abbie: “I think my love language is gift giving so its a designated day to show people why you care about them. I think that’s why I love this day so much I can show others that I care and do the little things, to see the reciprocated joy on their faces.”
Sydney: Abbie’s love for Christmas started at a young age and grew from the family time and tradition that were created.
Abbie: So it started at a young age we would make homemade decorations where we paint our favorite memory from the years on the ornament and hang them on the tree.
Sydney: Whether you celebrate Christmas the minute Halloween ends, December 1st or like Abbie on every day of the year.
Let this be a reminder to you that Christmas is more than gifts, decorations and outfits.
It’s about the smiles that are brought to faces.

SYRACUSE, N.Y.(NCC News) — Christmas comes once  a year to bring every non-grinch hearted spirit all the love and cheer. Now what happens if you bottle it all up the happiness of the holiday and open it every day of the year?

That would give you the life Abbie Kludt lives. When you are around her, you can’t help but notice there is something special behind her smile and when diving deeper into it, the true meaning was unveiled.

From the Mariah Carry alarm clock she wakes up to, her Christmas watch, and every app designed around the holiday, Kludt screams Christmas from head to toe.

Now it is easy to see the commercial appeal of Christmas written all over Kludt, but it is the spirit of the holiday that shines through her personality and heart.

“I think my love language is gift giving, so I think a designated day to show people why you care about them is important and how much you pay attention to the little things and you get to kinda express that reciprocated joy too much,” said Kludt.

There have been years when Kludt can tell that someone in her family has not received what they wanted for Christmas and she immediately starts preparing the gift they wanted for next Christmas, months and months in advance. For this year, she started collecting her father maple syrups from different places starting last January and is now up to fourteen different kinds.

From her family to her friends it is easy to feel the joy about Kludt that people associate with the same feeling around the holiday. The next time you hear about someone who loves Christmas look beyond the way they dress or the movies they watch and surround yourself with the feeling they bring.
