Syracuse police are investigating a gym on the North Side of Syracuse after it was vandalized early Monday morning.

A fire was started and windows were smashed at Conan’s Gym, located at 911 N. Salina St., at 2:22 a.m. on Monday morning.

Conan’s Gym owners Derek Pollastro and Jake Copani are offering a $2,000 reward for any information that leads to the conviction of the suspects.

Witnesses say two men in hoodies fled the scene on foot after vandalizing the gym. Suspect information is limited, according to the police.

The investigation is still active and ongoing.

The gym suffered fire, smoke and water damage in addition to the broken glass, but the situation could have been worse, according to Pollastro.

Pollastro lives in the apartment above the gym, and was awaken by phone calls, he says, that his building was on fire.
