Families Can Find a Normal October at Pumpkin Hollow A Normal October for Pumpkin Hollow

MARCELLUS, N.Y. (NCC NEWS) — Parents have another place to take their kids for fall activities ahead of Halloween.

Pumpkin Hollow has reopened its hay ride and corn maze to the public and also widened the walkways to allow for patrons to safely socially distance while enjoying the activities. making it a fulfilling return to normal for both children and their parents.

“Just the excitement that they get,” Syracuse father and three-year patron Saquan Dozier said. “Being around nature, being able to go in the corn mazes, being able to get their pumpkins so they can get to carving them when they go home.”

Pumpkin Hollow staffer Cooper Weinman said there’s still some restrictions in place for the peace of mind of visitors, including signage recommending social distancing and masks indoors. There’s also large containers of hand sanitizers by most activities. But, all of the amenities — including food vendors and face paint — are back up and running.

Dozier said his kids were already eager to go back, saying “they really missed it.” Pumpkin Hollow will be open until Oct. 31.
