SYRACUSE, NY (NCC News) — The annual Taste of Syracuse festival returns to downtown Syracuse this weekend, offering a combination of food and live music. The event will take place on June 8-9 around Clinton Square, featuring numerous local restaurants providing $2 samples of their dishes.
The festival area stretches from the Chase building to Clinton Square. In addition to food offerings, there will be live performances on three stages, including acts by Hanson and Cracker, among other artists.
Street closures will be in effect to accommodate the festival. Clinton Street, West Water Street, Washington Street, and Erie Boulevard West will be closed, with roads reopening on the afternoon of Sunday, June 9. The Washington Street parking garage will remain accessible for those attending the event.
Taste of Syracuse is known for drawing crowds to its outdoor setting. For those planning to attend, it’s advisable to prepare for busy streets and limited parking in the immediate vicinity.
