By Hannah Duncan SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — Gov. Andrew Cuomo was in Syracuse on Tuesday morning to announce the completion of the 50-mile Drone Corridor between Central New York and the Mohawk Valley.
The Drone Corridor will be one of the few areas in the country where people can test drones.
“It took a vision, it took commitment, and it took investment,” Cuomo said. “It took a state government to work with a county government to work with a city government, which is easier said than done.”
Cuomo also announced that The Tech Garden in downtown Syracuse will receive $12.5 million for upgrades. This is all part of an effort to boost business and the economy in Central New York.
