SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — Halloween is under one week away, but Syracuse residents are already prepared. For local resident Derrick Gunther, he says the earlier, the better when it comes to buying candy.
“I stock up like two weeks before Halloween, because it’s controlled,” Gunther said.
Trick-or-treating in Syracuse goes beyond neighborhoods. Moghul Indian Grill’s Kamran Khan says his restaurant’s street gets a good crowd on Oct. 31.
“Majority of the time I’ll be at work,” Khan said. “But Marshall Street, it gets pretty packed with a lot of the parents and kids.”
