by Jake Fenner SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) – A Le Moyne student has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing another student over the weekend.
DeWitt Police have charged 19 year old Zachary J. Lang of Massachusetts with assault after a stabbing took place early on Saturday. The stabbing occurred in the Le Moyne Heights apartments on the 600 block of Springfield Road just before 1:45 am. Lang was arrested only minutes after the stabbing took place.
DeWitt police released a statement saying this is an isolated incident with no further public threat.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Lang has been officially charged with felony second-degree assault, fourth degree possession of a weapon and second degree harassment.
