The event adapts to the COVID-19 pandemic

Lights on the Lake returns for its 31st year, but the Central New York holiday tradition will operate differently this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All tickets will be sold online, and all vehicle passes must be purchased in advance. This year’s show features a “Land of Oz” display, which will run from Nov. 16 to Jan. 10 between 5-10 p.m. at Onondaga Lake Park.

Tickets are $6 for Monday and Tuesdays, $10 on Wednesdays and Thursdays and $20 between Fridays-Sundays. Opening night tickets on Nov. 16 are $5, and all proceeds will benefit local charities affected by the pandemic. Other special evenings include Nov. 17, “doggy drive-thru” night where all money will go to HumaneCNY.
