Deputy chief for the Liverpool Fire Department, Matt Manley, confirmed that a firefighter suffered from heat exhaustion on-scene and was hospitalized as a result.

The Liverpool Fire Department says a home owner and a neighbor were working on the pipes in an upstairs bathroom when the fire started and spread into the attic of the home.
