The Ronald McDonald House is hosting the “Many Hearts, One Home” gala this Saturday. The gala is an annual event for the charity to fundraise for the families who live in the RHMC.
Partners of local businesses, organizations and hospitals attend to support the RHMC and everyone is welcome to attend. According to the Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House, Beth Trunifo, the gala is meant to bring together people within the Syracuse community to support these families.
“Funds raised at this event are so important to us and to helping care for families and keep them together during various serious and unthinkable times when their child is ill,” she said.
Since 1982, the Ronald McDonald House has helped more than 18,000 families, bringing support to them during their hard times with their children.
“We’re very fortunate that the community is so supportive of the Ronald McDonald House, the families that we care for and keep together during very difficult times,” Trunifo added.
Through “Many Hearts, One Home,” the organization is continuing to help their families. The gala is set for 6:30p.m. on Saturday at the SRC Arena at the Onondaga Community College.
