Dorman, who is in her 23rd year working at the Syracuse Stage, is excited to be apart of the 50th anniversary of the theater. In connection with the storyline of the play, Dorman is trying to create a unique feeling with the costumes she is making.

“You want it to feel that it has a sense of it being a little otherworldly and that sorta leads to the mystery,” Dorman said. “I think that we want to convey that sense of mystery and a little bit of danger that it has.”

Before the first show, the cast is holding its final costume fitting this weekend and the designers are meeting to workout any final changes.
