ONONDAGA COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE WILL NOW BE A SMOKE FREE AND TOBACCO FREE CAMPUS BEGINNING THURSDAY JULY 1ST.
“We’ve been slowly working towards this we want to make sure we have the right support system to help those quit smoking”
THIS PAST WEEKEND COMFORT TYLER PARK HELD A SOUL OF PRIDE COOKOUT EVENT IN HONOR OF PRIDE MONTH HERE IN THE SYRACUSE AREA.
“This is centering us, this is putting us at the fore front. This is giving us a space to be us so you can hear our voice, see our talents, we can showcase them”
SALINA LIBRRY IS GETTING CREATIVE. TODAY THE LOCAL CENTRAL NEW YORK LIBRARY IS GIVING OUT CRAFT KITS WITH DIFFERENT THEMES TO KEEP THE YOUTH ENTERTAINED AND ENGAGED.
“Even though twenty may not sound like a huge number, it was really big for us because your like well that’s fifteen to twenty families that we didn’t reach before”
AND IN SPORTS FORMER SYRACUSE BASKETBALL PLAYER MIKE LEE EARNED HIS SPOT IN THE UPSTATE NEW YORK BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME.
LEE STARTED ALL 83 OF HIS GAMES AT SYRACUSE AND WAS NAMED CAPTAIN HIS SENIOR YEAR.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — Onondaga County Community College will now be a smoke-free and tobacco-free campus beginning July 1.
Former Syracuse University basketball player Mike Lee earned his spot in the upstate New York basketball hall of fame.
Lee started all 83 of his games at Syracuse and was named captain his senior year.
