MOMENTS LATER, A JEEP REAR ENDED THE VAN, CAUSING SEVERE HEAD TRAUMA TO THE VICTIM. THE DRIVER OF THE JEEP IS COOPERATING WITH AUTHORITIES. WANSHI: CURRENTLY, MORE THAN 10,000 PEOPLE DIED DUE TO THE 7.8 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE IN TURKEY AND SYRIA. RESCUE TEAMS ARE STILL SEARCHING FOR SURVIVORS, BUT THE SNOW AND FREEZING TEMPERATURES MAKE THE WHOLE SITUATION MORE DIFFICULT.
KYLE: A TRACTOR TRAILER HIT THE ONONDAGA PARK BRIDGE YESTERDAY. THE COLLISION CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE TRAILER BUT THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES. HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME A TRAILER HAS STRUCK THE ONONDAGA PARK BRIDGE. ACCORDING TO A REPORT FROM THE NEW YORK DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, THE BRIDGE HAS BEEN HIT A STAGGERING 39 TIMES SINCE 2017. SOLVING THIS ISSUE MAY JUST BE A BRIDGE TOO FAR.
