Hello, and welcome to the NCC News podcast. We’re your hosts. I’m Michael Emami and I’m Sammy St. Jean. Today is May 31st, 2023. Here are some of what we’re following today at NCC News. The Mayor of Manlius reacts to the killing of the town Swan Fey. This is not ending. We will continue to have swans and hopefully at some point we go back to normal.

The mayor also thanked the work of police who have arrested three teenagers in the investigation. With a look at weather joining us now is Danielle Monk to talk about today’s forecast. For the rest of today, you can expect sunny and clear skies with a high near 89 around 4:00 PM There’ll be a south wind around six miles per hour, which will be variable throughout the day.

As we move towards tonight, you can expect mostly clear skies with a low round 64 degrees Fahrenheit. There’ll also be a north wind around five miles per hour. That’ll be calm in the evening. All right, Danielle, what about a look at the weekend. As we move towards the weekend? It’s definitely a little all over the place, and you’re definitely gonna wanna check the weather before you head out the door.

On Friday, it’s gonna be the hottest day of the week with a high of 92 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 64 degrees Fahrenheit. Friday night on Saturday, you’re gonna have a mostly sunny day up until 3:00 PM where there’s a chance of showers, which goes throughout Saturday night. And then on Sunday we get right back to sunny weather with a high of 79 degrees Fahrenheit.

All right, for a local sports update, I’m here with Alaina Losito and, uh, Syracuse basketball star Judah Mintz has a big decision to make coming up tonight Alaina. So, it’s decision day for Judah Mintz. He has until 11:59 PM tonight to decide if he wants to withdraw from the NBA draft.

But many mock drafts have him going in the second round, so it’s not likely that he’s going to withdraw. He’s also eligible for another year at SU for his sophomore year if he decides to do that, but tonight is a big decision for him, for sure. All right. Thank you very much for Alaina Losito.
