Good Afternoon, it’s June 8, I’m Talha Rao and this is your NCC News brief. A rare bird called the piping clover is causing a controversy. AT LEAST 3000 FEET IS SUPPOSED TO BE DREDGED AT SANDY POND, BUT IT COULD HARM THE BIRDS.

THE FARMERS MARKET DOWNTOWN OPENS SHOP TODAY FOR THE FIRST TME THIS SEASON. CUSTOMERS HAVE UNTIL 3 PM TO SHOP FOR FRESH, SEASONAL FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. THIS YEAR WILL BE A BIT DIFFERENT AS VENDORS WILL HAVE TO FOLLOW CDC GUIDELINES AND REMAIN AT LEAST SIX FEET APART.

IN SPORTS, THE SYRACUSE MEN’S LACROSSE TEAM WILL BE LED BY NEWLY HIRED HEAD COACH GARY GAIT, THE FORMER WOMEN’S COACH TAKES OVER THE MEN’S PROGRAM FOLLOWING JOHN DESKO’S UNEXPECTED RETIREMENT AFTER A HISTORIC 22 YEARS.
