SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) – According to an Instagram post from Funk ‘n Waffles, their food trailer and truck that was stolen on Friday morning has been found.
In the updated post it says, “Our truck and food trailer were recovered, the van is damaged, but the food trailer will make it to serve up waffles again! Thank you to our community for all the love and support!”
The post later went on to give a shoutout to the man who spotted the truck and messaged them on Facebook.
On Monday morning, NCC News spoke with owner Adam Gold who says he’s glad the whole ordeal is over.
On Friday morning, the post originally read, “MISSING: Our food trailer and truck were taken this morning from storage. We are saddened by the loss and are hoping that someone has seen it. If anyone has seen them please call the police so we might be able to get them back.”
