SU Student held at Gunpoint SU Student robbed

By Gabrielle Cajas SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC NEWS ) – A Syracuse University student was approached by two unknown men Tuesday night. SU’s Department of Public Safety issued an alert stating the incident happened on the 400 block of Van Buren Street near the corner of Almond Street around 7:20 p.m.

The student said one of the males was holding a black handgun and demanded the student’s property. The student handed over food and money. The suspects then fled the scene on foot, down Burt Street, away from campus. No one was hurt.

Both suspects are 18-20 years old wearing dark clothing. One suspect is 5’6” and the other is 5’8” in height.
