SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — In Upstate New York, residents have been seeing warmer than normal weather. Usually around this point in the year, temperatures should be in the lower 60’s, but recently we have been seeing temperatures closer to the 80’s.
While many residents are extremely happy about this warmer weather, triathlete Heather Hudson told me that she would prefer to run in the snow than the heat any day.
These warm temperatures are likely to continue into mid-October, which is extremely abnormal for this area at this time.
Usually, residents are seen bracing for the snow as we enter the fall season, but this fall season is sure to be much different.
