SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) – Onondaga County is under a Lake-Effect Snow Warning starting 10 a.m. Tuesday and ending 7 a.m. on Wednesday, as Central New York faces its first snowstorm of the season.
Five to nine inches of snow are expected to cover the area, with higher snowfall amounts expected in northern parts of the area, including Syracuse.
The heaviest snowfall will occur Tuesday afternoon and through the night. Travel during this time could impact morning and evening commutes, officials said.
