SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC NEWS) — Winter is here in Central New York. Although the official start is not until December 21, but the 45 degree-weather that Syracuse experienced this morning is a sign that colder days are coming.
As expected, there has been a significant decrease in average temperature from September (62.5 degrees) and October (49.6 degrees) in Syracuse, and November welcomes another decrease. The next forecasted temperature of above 50 degrees is November 8.
There is a possibility of precipitation in Syracuse the upcoming week as well. Wednesday currently shows a 40% chance of snow, while Thursday and Friday project the same chance of rain.
That storm is going to spread all around Central New York with Watertown experiencing light snow on Tuesday. Buffalo is also expecting rain and snow on Wednesday, and Saratoga is projected to have over snowfall.
