Three more free jazz concerts on Thursdays in August are right here in Syracuse!
Jackiem Joyner, Atlas and West End Blend are scheduled to give performances at different locations.
The host of Jazz in the City announced the detailed information for the next performance.
“Next week is gonna be hot, because next week Thursday August 8th, Jazz in the city moves over to the west side, from seven to nine p.m. in a brand new location. We are gonna be in Leavenworth Park.”
The legendary R&B sound of the Blacklites kicked off Jazz in the City 2019 on August 1st.
According to a band member, Jazz in the City benefits the neighborhood with great music on weekdays.
“In the city of Syracuse when you travel around, and you try to listen to some good music, it’s a shame that the only time we can hear some really great music is on a Sunday.”
Jazz in the City is a mobile cultural platform that started to serve Syracuse in 2002.

By Yuhan Zhao SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News)—Good news for Syracuse  residents: the Jazz in the City Neighborhood Outreach Concert Series will have three more free jazz concerts on Thursdays in August. They are about to bring in hot jazz on cool summer nights.

The well-known jazz artist Jackiem Joyner, Atlas and West End Blend are scheduled to give performances at different locations.

The host of Jazz in the City announced the detailed information for the following performance, “Next week is gonna be hot, because next week on Thursday, August 8th, Jazz in the city moves over to the west side, 7 to 9 p.m. in a brand new location. We are gonna be in Leavenworth Park.”

The legendary R&B sound of the Blacklites kicked off  Jazz in the City 2019 on August 1st. People were dancing, singing, and having fun with their families.
