SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC NEWS) — On Friday, September 13, 2019 Syracuse University officially celebrated the grand opening of the brand new recreational facility. The Barnes Center at The Arch is a brand new health and wellness center that will provide Syracuse students with a one-of-a-kind fitness experience that is sure to improve well-being of all Syracuse students.
This facility provides students with amenities such as personal training, group fitness classes, group therapy, a pharmacy, rock climbing wall, a pet therapy room, a meditation center, and much more!
Sean McDonough, Syracuse class of 1984 said it best: “It’s not just a building. It’s not just a gym. It’s not just a pharmacy or a med clinic, but it’s an integrated health and wellness complex.”
Students are encouraged to take advantage of all this center has to offer.
Students are also encouraged to visit the Wellness Portal to sign-up for group fitness classes, to register a spot for the Crowley Family MindSpa, or to enroll in safety classes.
