By Jenna Bree SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Upstate Medical University received a $3 million gift from Tom Golisano to create this center, which will be named the Golisano Center for Special Needs. The announcement came Friday, September 27th during the hospital’s 10th birthday celebration

It will allow more than 500 additional evaluations for Autism each year, according to Upstate officials. Almost 8,000 children will receive help each year.
