Vote on Deer and Tick Management Plan Tonight Vote on Deer and Tick Management Plan Tonight

Syracuse, N.Y. (NCC News) – The city of Syracuse is set to vote tonight on a deer and tick management plan.

The goal is to slim the deer population, especially during their mating season. The overpopulation of deer brings more ticks to the area, increases car collisions, and even harms local birds.

Counselors are expected to talk about the public safety of this plan, and if neighborhoods should be notified when deer snipers are in the area.
