SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC NEWS)– The Central New York Area has seen great temperatures and sunshine today. The high in Syracuse today is 79 degrees, with night temperatures hitting 63 degrees.
Across the country, a high pressure system across the country is leaving pleasant conditions across most of the United States. Rain is expected for parts of the Midwest and the Gulf Coast, with the severe storms sweeping Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri. High humidity is anticipated for the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, with summer heat expected to continue to swell as Fall awaits right around the corner. The Northwest and parts of the Southwest will experience some cooler temperatures, with Utah seeing temperatures in the low 60s for the high. While there are no special advisories at this time, there is an elevated fire risk for Central and Northern California. (AP Wire)
