Gyms and Fitness centers in New York State are hoping to open soon. Preparations are ongoing. Many changes are expected to be seen as people protect against COVID -19.

Grata Swift is a fitness instructor for Cooper Beach Commons in Syracuse. Her classes were shut down due to the pandemic. However, individually, she continues with fitness even for a much bigger cause.

Swift: (“On a personal fitness scale, I decided to start running, and I’m on my 69 day straight running my plan is to run until there’s vaccine”)

Fitness classes will be divided into small groups when they resume

Scopas: While observing precautionary measures, small businesses at the popular san Pedro square in downtown San Jose couldn’t wait to resume businesses in order to survive. The square opened their doors to the public for the first time in eight weeks.

(“We decided to just do pick-up and delivery to re-open so that these small businesses can start getting back to work again and keep their business going.”)

Scopas: In sports, World Team Tennis says it is planning to allow up to 500 spectators at outdoor matches during its three-week season from July to August at a resort in West Virginia

Scopas: Today the weather in Syracuse is quite sunny and warm with a high of 93. Tonight, it will drop to a low of 70.
