Good afternoon Central New York, this is your NCC News Briefing, I’m James Colgan. It’s the eve of election day and in New York State’s 22nd Congressional District, anything is still on the table. Incumbent Republican Claudia Tenney is desperately fending off Democrat challenger Anthony Brindisi. The Brindisi Campaign out-spent and out-fundraised Tenney’s campaign by nearly a million dollars trying to flip the district, and a poll from the New York Times on Friday put the race at a dead heat.

But the highly competitive 22nd District’s neighbor, New York 24, is having the opposite problem. NCC News asked younger residents of NY-24 who they would be voting in tomorrow’s midterm elections, and the answer might surprise you.

If you want to vote for either of the congressional candidates actually on the ballot, Dana Balter or John Katko, Polls open tomorrow morning throughout NY-24 and New York State at 6 AM and remain open until 9 PM.

And in sports, Syracuse is ranked in both basketball in football AP Polls for the first time in 20 years. The Orange clocked in at number 13 in the AP Top 25 football poll, their highest such ranking since 1998, but ahead of Friday night’s game against Louisville, Dino Babers isn’t fazed the by the ranking.
