By CB Garrett, SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) – Wegmans has been fined more than a million dollars by the New York State Liquor Authority. The agency said that Wegmans was maintaining five stores without a proper liquor license.

The stores are in Syracuse, Buffalo, Binghamton, and two in Rochester. Wegmans was fined $750,000 as a company, while each of those five stores were fined $75,000.

Wegmans has denied any wrongdoing to this point.
