REPORTER: QUARANTINE FOR THE CORONAVIRUS IS UNDERWAY IN ONONDAGA COUNTY. A DOZEN RESIDENTS WHO RETURNED FROM CHINA ARE TAKING PRECAUTIONS EVEN THOUGH THEY SHOW NO SYMPTOMS. CROUSE HOSPITAL NURSE HALEY ENGLAND SAYS CAREFUL OBSERVATION IS KEY IN HALTING THE VIRUS FROM IMPACTING CENTRAL NEW YORK.

HALEY ENGLAND: “Once there is a case or something that is confirmed then they’ll take the extra measures, but just kind of be on the lookout and kind of keep the same precautions as they would for the flu.”

REPORTER: DESPITE NONE IN ONONDAGA COUNTY, NEW YORK GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO SAYS THERE 22 CASES IN THE STATE.
