SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) – Central New York residents and residents from around the state can vote before Election Day this year for the first time ever starting this Saturday.
The state of New York is the 39th state to allow early voting and there will be 248 early voting locations around the state.
Catie Ryczek, a resident of Utica, believes early voting makes it more convenient for voters across the state.
“It makes it really easy for people who work and have kids to vote and not wait in line for hours,” Ryczek said.
