Gov. Andrew Cuomo Announces Expansion of Companies in Syracuse Companies Expanding in CNY

Bankers Healthcare Group and JMA Wireless will create a combined 400 jobs.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — Two companies will add more than 400 new jobs to Syracuse. Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the expansions of Bankers Healthcare Group and JMA Wireless Wednesday morning.

Bankers Healthcare Group, a financial consultation company, will relocate to 300-324 Spencer Street and JMA Wireless, a technology company that manufactures 5G equipment, will move to the Coyne Building downtown. They will create 330 and 100 new jobs respectively.

“By expanding into Central New York, these two companies will help transform the region, create new employment opportunities and generate even more economic momentum across upstate New York,” Cuomo said.

Bankers Healthcare Group estimated  its construction of  a 100,000 square-foot facility will be completed by the end of 2023.  JMA reported it doesn’t yet have a completion date for its renovation of the former Coyne Building.
