SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News)— There are four concerts at the Lakeview Amphitheater in Syracuse this month. With cases on the rise in Onondaga County, the amphitheater said COVID guidelines could change.
The U-S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending everyone to wear masks in Onondaga County. However, the county said masks for outdoor settings are currently not necessary.
So what COVID-19 guidelines does the Lakeview Amphitheater have in place for outdoor concerts? I spoke to one Lakeview Amphitheater employee who did not disclose her name.
She said the theater has not enforced strict COVID rules just yet.
“That could change at any point in time,” the employee said.
However, the employee said the Lakeview Amphitheater has one recommendation.
“If you’re unvaccinated, you’re asked to wear a mask,” she said.
According to New York Times, Onondaga County has 84 new COVID cases on a seven-day average. As cases rise, the county can expect more COVID restrictions.
The team at Lakeview amphitheater said anyone can visit https://www.asmsyracuse.com/ for updated COVID guidelines.
